Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Draftly (“Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

Draftly provides AI-assisted writing tools for freelancers, including proposal and cold email generation. Outputs are AI-generated and should be reviewed before use.

3. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be 16 years of age or older to use the Service.
• One account per person. Do not share accounts.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for spam, deception, or illegal activity
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API
• Circumvent plan limits through multiple accounts
• Generate content that violates Anthropic's usage policies

5. Payments & Refunds

Paid plans are billed monthly. All payments are processed by Paddle (our Merchant of Record — they handle tax and compliance worldwide). Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. We offer a 7-day free trial on paid plans. Refunds are evaluated case-by-case — contact billing@draftly.ai within 14 days of charge.

6. Intellectual Property

You own the outputs generated using your inputs. Draftly retains ownership of the platform, prompts, and underlying technology.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. Always review generated content before sending it to clients.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Draftly shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may cancel your account at any time via Settings → Billing.
